How should I go about installing my new parts? (CPU,HDD,SDD)

So I've recently convinced myself to upgrade my pc. I've bought a CPU (FX-8350 Black) which although isn't as good as an intel i5 4690k it still is a massive upg from my FX-4100 . I've also decided to buy an SSD (250gb Crucial BX100) and a 2tb HDD as an upg to my deteriorating 1tb HDD I have currently. 

 

So I was wondering what would be the best way to go about installing these new parts. I got them now as it seems like with the new os coming out I should take this opportunity to properly do some work on my computer. So I need to you guys to advise me on how I should do this. Should I just install the CPU first ten do a clean install of windows on the SSD and then just copy & paste my docs and steam games etc to the HDD or should I try to migrate the OS from my existing HDD onto my SSD and then hope everything work once I update to windows 10 and install the new cpu etc etc.

Back up your stuff, and try a clean install. It will be a lot easier for you since that's a quite huge upgrade.

as for the CPU , that u can install it at anytime and get the benefits

 

personaly i've left the HDD connected at the same time with the new SSD , installed my OS on it and made 1 more partition , after which i've went into Windows - Disk Management , deleted the old OS , backed up everything that was in C drive and other 2 partitions, then merged them all together , while leaving one partition out of 3 i had on my HDD , into one . Everything works well , but u will see this in Task Manager http://i.imgur.com/B4AFEnu.png (three D drives when there's just one)

Thanks for your help guys . I'll probably just to a clean install and then just migrate my files over to my new HDD and delete the os partition so I boot from the SSD but have things like games and videos on my HDD. Ty again guys, LTT forums is the best
