Games won´t start with nvidia card

So, i have a laptop with that  2 graphics , nvidia and dedicated intel , and when i run a game like tomb raider and sniper elite v2 , the game wont start if i run with nvidia card,the screen is all black and nothing happened, but when i switch to dedicated graphics the game startup super fine... someone help pls??? (sry for bad english).

What laptop is it? you may not have most updated driver or "SLI" is not compatible with the games.

Latest nVidia Driver? Also, try going into the nVidia control panel and tell it to use the Discrete GPU for everything (power light should stay orange instead of blue, at least on my GE60 Apache 2PL it does) instead of letting it auto switch. Might make difference, might not.

 

Sometimes that auto switching can get a bit glitchy. For me, on Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, the auto-switching refuses to detect it as a game and just uses the integrated Intel GPU. The game is originally from like 2004 (in Japan, didn't see release in the US on PC until 2014) so even the Intel GPU can run the game maxed though.
