Any advice? first build

Okay so i'm building a gaming pcarrow-10x10.png and will start orderingarrow-10x10.png parts this week anything I can change or does everything look good? I didn't really have a budgetarrow-10x10.png but the price came down to $880 USD

Your plan seems pretty good and solid. everything is compatible and should run just fine. I would consider adding a SSD for better responsiveness and much shorter loading and boot times. Other than that you are good to go. :)

That ssd is a bad one. Always try to avoid the V300.

Get the 120gb BX100. A very quality ssd, and relatively cheap.

I would suggest switching to a 120gb version of the ssd for the intel build so you might be able to fit a Z97 board, as I am pretty sure the Z87 boards don't support haswell refresh cpus, which the 4690k is. Other than that, good build.

This is a good option if you don't mind spending a bit extra. If you need more storage, toss a HDD in, or switch the ssd.
