Least Favorite Tech Brand?

Bonjour,

What's your least favoirte tech brand? Mine would easily be apple, as they build frankly underpowered computers, but charge thousands for them.

Merci,

Apple. Their attitude towards others in the industry is horrible, the products they produce under-perform and are overpriced. All around a horrible company that needs to learn to not be complete assholes to everyone.

Razersheit. You can find their 5 dollar products for only 70 dollars www.razersheit.com

So much apple hate lol. I am not an apple "fan", but come on guys. Their build quality is second to none. That all costs money. The money into R&D and all the engineering that goes into their stuff... no, it doesn't equate to the high price they charge, but it does make up a lot of it. The rest of that price differential is basically there to make you feel special, at least in their laptops. Its a monetary barrier to entry, which you can agree with or disagree with, I will not argue that point....

But their phones.... come on. nothing, and I mean nothing, is as well built or as well engineered as an iphone. That costs money... So give them a little slack. And their phones perform plenty fast, hell, they are faster feeling than an android of the same era. Better OS + full hardware control = winning ;)

Corsair by far. Such an over rated company, they should really stick to peripheals.

AMD has been disappointing in the last while...but I can't say I hate it. I just feel neutral about AMD right now.

One company that I do (slightly) hate is Apple. Some of the things they do are wrong, but at the same time, some things are very good(like their extensive encryption for example).

Another one is Alienware.

You named two of the reasons they aren't the best. The ram is highly overpriced because the heat spreader looks "good" and the ones that are cheap look uglier then a stick of ram with no heat spreader. Their all,in ones are okay but by far no one near the best you could get for the money.

Razer.. But I guess you live and you learn.  I now have an $130 typewriter of a keyboard, a mouse with buttons I don't even use, and Razer Synapse.  God I hate Razer Synapse..

Certainly not Apple, I praise their sense of design and ability to stand out and above the rest. Plus they're not the worst for value when you consider they are the PC equivalent of buying a Mercedes over a Ford.

Probably biostar, due to the very poor quality motherboards they produce in general, with some exceptions.

Gotta disagree there. Corsair pretty much started off as a memory company. All their cases, PSUs, etc came later. I don't see anything wrong with their new AIOs. They have by far the best tubing I've seen on an AIO. There are other nice coolers, but Corsair's are really up there in terms of quality.
