Best headphones ~ $150

Squabba

Hey guys!

I'm looking to buy a new pair of headphones, I currently have a Steel Series Siberia v2 headset, but I'm just kinda tired of them.

I'll be switching to mainly using speakers, but I still want to have a decent set of headphones for when I'm listening to music, watching movies, ASMR, etc.

Basically I just don't know where to start. I know a little about this topic, but not nearly enough.

I'm looking for something around $150 (+/-), over-ear, not too large (I have a medium-small head), maybe sound-cancelling (not too important, but it would be nice).

Just something simple not too flashy, just a solid pair of not-really-fking-huge headphones fer ya boi.

Any help is much appreciated, as always.

Thank you!

Only victors are allowed to live... this world is merciless like that.

Razer kraken = best.

I got logitech G430, coming in cheap at around 75 euro's/dollar/whatever currency.

Wouldn't be a real upgrade from yours i imagine but it's definitely a good headset to wear 6 hours straight if not more.

Razer was trolling, 6 hours straight wearing G430's definitely serious.

Yet, for around $40-50 less than the M50X, you can get the M40X which is pretty much identical.

Not sure what country you are in... assuming USA.  Look into Bose Sound True around ear headphones.  They are plain in appearance and are my go to travel set.  Very comfy, in my opinion a great sound stage for $120 if you pick up on sale. I've owned a older release for about 3 years.  They never gave me a problem and are really just a good value for the money imo. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Audio_Video_Accessories/productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=cadhs1&sku=A7661877

If you can find them in your price point sennheiser ampirior are phenomenal yes thier in ear but they are reall comfortable and are on par with 300$ over ears sound wise.

Shure srh440+ 840 pads is another good option
