Need cheap gaming headsets/headphones

Bogdan_Dirlosan

My razer kraken just broke, and, as I have spent all my money on my rig, I need a cheap gaming headset up to 20 USD. All I care is for them to be comfortable and to sound good. I dont really need to hear footsteps since I dont play CSGO that much, because I mostly open cases. I already tried the logitech g 230 and 330 and I did not like the feel of them.

Maybe these plantronics for $16?

Have a hunt around for a Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000. They're £16.99 in the UK so they must be cheap somewhere over there. Great headset for the price with an excellent microphone.

My suggestion is to save up a bit. $20 is not a great budget for headsets. I have experienced this the hard way in the past.

If you really need a headset:

If you can live without a mic for a while (you can also get a clip-on mic for 10$ extra):

Laptop: Intel Core i5-4200H, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce 840M

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti

I had the Sharkoon Rush (Core) before my new and more expensive setup. It was pretty good for the price ($15). Sound quality was average but definitely not bad for the price, mic quality is better than the mic from the HyperX Cloud, and build quality is average, you gotta be careful with it to avoid a cable break or something.

I'd recommend it if you don't want to pay more.

Mah Build:  CPU: Intel i7-7700K COOLING: NZXT Kraken X52 GPU: Asus Strix GTX 1080 MOBO: Asus Strix Z270F RAM: 16GB GSKILL TridentZ RGB 3000

CASE: In Win 303 STORAGE: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB, Seagate 1TB  SSHD PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750W

Maybe instead of wasting hundreds of dollars on cases you could spend that money on a good pair of headphones with a modmic...
