If no ssd would you go for a better gfx card?

you wont benefit from a better GFX card with that CPU. You may benefit more from getting a GTX 960 over a 280X, even if the 280X is notably faster, due to driver overhead, GTX 960 may be better, in which case you can lower hte prices a little even for a 4GB version of the GTX960.

However, i havent tested or seen FPS numbers with the 860k using a 280X vs a 960 so i wouldnt know.

First time builder don't really know much but what was self taught through videos ie.youtube.

Looking to build something to play heroes of the storm and runescape likes games@1080 and preferably max setting. I have a 21.5 Samsung monitor now and would one day like to upgrade to a dual monitor setup, also @1080. Will need a cheap mouse and keyboard most likely as I only have Microsoft wireless set up. I also want to be able to surf Internet with great speed. I also think I want a ssd just for the OS.

Please help me out with your opinions

I have a really good build for 600 dollars. DON'T GO FOR THE AMD PROCESSORS THEY ARE MUCH WORSE THAN AN i3. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gwj7bv
