500-600 usd gaming help

First time builder don't really know much but what was self taught through videos ie.youtube.

Looking to build something to play heroes of the storm and runescape likes games@1080 and preferably max setting. I have a 21.5 Samsung monitor now and would one day like to upgrade to a dual monitor setup, also @1080. Will need a cheap mouse and keyboard most likely as I only have Microsoft wireless set up. I also want to be able to surf Internet with great speed. I also think I want a ssd just for the OS.

Please help me out with your opinions

Thanks!

From what I understand about a ssd is that it completes many more tasks then a hhd witch makes sense for the os to be run off it no? How big would it have to be just to run the os?

You definetely dont want an SSD in a 600USD budget, its not something that is absolutely needed, get a HDD it will work fine and further down the line get an SSD

Nah, the 120GB is 71 USD, 250GB is 97 USD... Rather remove the 1TB HDD then get 48 USD to play with. You can buy a big storage drive later on.

You could substitute a ssd for a hybrid drive which is very close in price to a hdd and is only 2-4 seconds slower than a ssd when it comes to boot time. Also with the hybrid drive it detects what programs you use the most and prioritizes those programs, not to mention the life span is longer than both a ssd and hdd combined  :D

Use one monitor as I can't recommend dual monitors at this price.

@ismokebudz

Please follow your own topic

Previously i posted a great build without a monitor or mouse, then one with mouse + keyboard, but no monitor. This one, weakest gaming performance, will still play games like GTA 5 at 30-40 FPS, however you gotta be using a 1600x900 resolution monitor, as at 1080p, you would struggle to get above 30FPS in newer games. Runescape and the likes, using this setup, should easily get 100FPS + unless something else happens.

Because FX got really bad performance, despite all the cores, they are like tiny tiny weak cores.... Its like comparing 4 NFL league quarterbacks (intel) vs 8 middle school nerds (AMD) in a ditch digging contest.... Sure the nerds can get stuff done, but in most cases, the quarterbacks can shuffle more dirt, faster....

FX is only really good in situations where the game CAN use all cores, but not all games can do that. Older games for example, cannot use more then 2 cores.... When you need like 3-4 FX cores to compete with ONE i3 core... that should give you a hint...

Athlon 860k is based upon same concept as FX, but it is improved. So it has higher "IPC", which allows each individual core to be stronger...

A Athlon 860k will keep up with a FX 6300, and beat it in games or programs that cannot use 6 six cores.... It can do all this, while being a lot cheaper...

Trust me, your better off with the 860k than the A10. as for room to grow, you'll need a bigger case. I'd suggest getting the BX100 ssd instead of the 850 to save some cash and still get a good ssd, and put the extra cash to a better case. Improvement's would be getting an after market cpu cooler, overclocking, and getting a better gpu such as a 290.

That's like saying you took $10 from someone and you respond,"he didn't say I couldn't." It's kinda just an unspoken rule on the forums that you adjust the build price to fit the budget using the before rebate price instead of after, unless told otherwise
