I have played the campaign in BF4 on veteran quite a few times, I can confirm this.

litterley the campaigns just introduce the different countries involved in the multiplayer

BF4, Russia, China, US

BF3, Russia, China, US, Iranians, French

CoD MW,MW2 and MW3 are THE best CoD and i still play MW3. BO has a weird feel to it IMO, like the running looks like if you are gliding like a spirit or something. I have Ghosts and AW and they are both boring and AW with the frigging jumping from ground level to mars in a nano second is unrealistic. Now, BO3 looks good then i saw the wall running and turned off the video.

 

To be honest activision just got caught up with all the hate of CoD games that IMO was generated to get other games off the ground.

AW was good. People asked for change. They got it. Then they complained because the CoD community is full of stupid faggots "Too much change!".

 

IMO MW3 was the worst CoD game I've purchased. Full of quickscoping fags.

 

Ghosts was not great.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

what makes cod so good on console is that it requires no skill whatsoever. there is no learning curve. it is easy to kill play shoot ect. its a run and gun fast paced shooter. probley the best one ever made for console

LOL what about Medal of honor, the storyline was good but the online mode sucked proper ASS. The thing with battlefield is I never liked the way the character ran, it was a shaky stance where as with COD it was smooth running when in control of the player, I cant comment about online since I didn't try.

I'm willing to give games a chance if they have a decent storyline - I was drawn to MoH 2010 when they were basically plastering it everywhere through advertisements, thought I should give COD a rest, but ended by going back to it when the other was plagued by bugs, poor support and what not.

CoD will never die mostly because of the competitive scene now. The competitve community is really what is keeping call of duty alive. like right now, you get on Advanced Warfare and it takes like 15-20 minutes just to be able to find a lobby that you can join unless you play ranked play which is the closest some kids can get to competitive. However I generally just play 8"s with some friends or GB's when I have time. Multiplayer is dead. There more people playing MW2 and BOPS2 Multiplayer than there are playing AW multiplayer. It is slowly dying, it's just not dying like some people think it is. BOPS3 is probably going to change it though somewhat. Even if it's only for a couple of months there are people looking to buy BOPS3 that haven't played since BOPS 2 so.

Now i am going to let the shouting slide because i feel you may be passionate about your view.

 

Call of duty MW, MW2 and MW3 are as realistic as a game without being neurologically connected. Things started to go off course when, in MW3, you could just have a camper with just his head poking out and he could shoot and kill you.

 

MW3 lacked more open maps but IMO it gave new comers a chance to get kills too. No game should only have good to great players having fun.

 

AW was and is good IMO just the high jump is really stupid and yes, i know many like it because modded high jump servers are always fun for some reason.

 

There is nothing wrong with quickscoping someone even if i don't like it either and die from it too.

 

I gave Ghosts a chance and that was my lesson in pre-purchasing a game, i will never do it again no matter what game or the reviews. Ghosts was and is rubbish!

Story is always the first thing I have to do, I know others who literally buy it to play and prestige ASAP online without even playing the campaign. I would buy the old titles if steam was to reduce the sales, the only option is G2a but still ridiculous price, you can pick the games on console up for like £2 second hand.

I'm with you man.  And yeah, even summer Steam sale prices on COD are not great.  I mean, come on, who is going to pay $30 for a game that is 3 years old!?  Even prices on G2A aren't that great.

Yeah I was really hoping that for the first steam summer sale that has occurred since I have moved to PC, maybe the titles would be cheap but guess I was wrong.

Has the hype finally died down for COD? The last time I got excited for playing COD was modern warfare 3 and that was solely for the story line. I have played Ghosts (Boring), never bothered with black ops 2, or advance warfare, might not even buy BO3. Going all futuristic is kind of crap in my opinion, long live COD 4, couldn't give a stuff about the rest. What is your opinion?

All the pro COD players are retiring because they realize it is dead. If COD did release a COD zombies with all the zombies games remastered from all the CODs then I would play

I like BO2 is the newest CoD I've played, and I won't be buying a newer for the foreseeable future. My favorite was CoD 3. I'd love another WWII CoD, and so would most fans. The super futuristic thing is getting boring for me, like just another FPS.

I likened 5 due to the co op feature which I wished was ported to the other series  :(

Here is the cod franchise now:

Cod4 is ruined on console, okay on pc.

WaW is completely ruined on every system because of hacking 6 year olds

Mw2 is full of people abusing grenade launchers.

Mw3 is just full of trash talkers and occasional hackers.

Bo1 is too difficult (hint hint nudge nudge, sniping)

Bo2 is still okay on pc but consoles are getting hacked now.

Ghosts is dead. completely. games are impossible to find.

AW is too futuristic and op guns are highly abused. AW will probably die completely after bo3

and Bo3? Might be the same scenario as AW.

Born too early to explore the galaxy, born too late to explore the seas, born just in time to make memes.
