2x 1440p Ips Monitors for Video editing for 1000€

Hi there,

looking for two monitors for video editing totaling at about 1000€ together.

Here is what is what I need:

-1440p

-probably IPS

-also suiteble for gaming ( no gsinc/free sinc needed)

-60Hz

-at least 24"

They´ll be running on an i7 5820k and 980ti.

If you could suggest me a Monitor you already use or know some one who does, that would be nice.

Anything else i should keep an eye on, when you buy Monitors for video editing.

Also i live in Germany; so pricing may differ.

Thank you

The asus pb278q would be great. I'm not positive on its german pricing, but it should be in that range.

he needs IPS

It is IPS. You're probably thinking the pg278q or the pb287q.

I find most naming-scemes for monitors really quite confusing.

PB278q is PLS, not IPS

They're the same thing. The only real difference is that PLS is made by samsung, while IPS is made by LG. PLS is also made to be slightly brighter more easily, but will be the same with the same brightness specs. If you were shown one of each that were identical in every way, you couldn't tell.

why not a 3440x1440 34" monitor? without a broken up timeline?
