Oh. Well, 960 isn't bad at all. The 280x and 970 are faster.

I agree but I could only show what I think a good build looks like if she wants to throw a gtx970 or 280x that's up to her

What I currently use/have laying about is

I5 3570k

Msi z77a-g43

16gb corsair ram @1600mhz

Antec one case

Silverstone strider 600w

But like I said to get she could upgrade to the i7 and put gtx970 or 280x or even a gtx980

Personally, if she had the money.  I'd go i5-4590k and add a 970/280x or if she has the money leftover to a 980 ti...980 isn't worth it for the small performance gain over the 970.
