Help with new HDTV selection, please.

Hello,

I am in the market for a new HDTV for a relatively small room, let's say 12x12. So, I am thinking between the 50"-60" range...I think. I don't need 4K, 3D or anything. Just a plain ol' 1080p TV with a great display for gaming (consoles and PC) and movies. My budget is around $1000. I may go up more, but not much.

Can anyone recommend a great TV? Can anyone help me with size to viewing area? I just want to know if 50"-60" is the size range that will fit my room.

it has andriod on it. 

all other tvs now invalid xD jk but andriod tv 2 pro.

Thanks! I have been looking at Sony. Will that size be good enough for my 12x12 room? Do you know about the response time or input lag?

I'd go with a 60-65" for that room, unless you'd be sitting close to the screen.

There's an input lag database online. Most 1080p TVs these days have low enough lag (particularly in game mode).
