hi

im planning on doing a sli config with my 780 ftw, i currently have a corsair 750w psu, im wondering if that will be enough for the sli config

i wont be overlocking the cards or anything

my current system -

i7 4790k

16gb ram

GTX 780 FTW

1TB Seagate Hardrive

500gb Samsung SSD

750w corsair psu

Yes, the 750W is enough :)

Even while overclocking?

I plan to do this also with my 780.

My other option is buy a single 980 Ti for an upgrade

I had a 850W for a 4790K+970SLI ;) and I think the 780 isn't a bigger power hog than the 970 :)

 

But yeah, I sold my 970s and got a single 980Ti and now the 850W is overkill :D

750w is more than enough 2 780s, even when OCed. You have nothing to worry about.

hhhmm.. as far as i know, 780 needs more power than 970.

980Ti is very expensive in my country (right now) around $850 . sad..
