Minecraft server help (pixelmon server)

i have a forge server (1.7.10) for pixelmon (3.4.0), and i have the batch file (java -Xmx3G -Xms3G -jar Forge_Server.jar nogui.

PAUSE)

 

when i run the batch file it says (error occurred during initialization of vm could not reserve enough space for 3145728kb object heap)

 

i have 16gb or ram, so i have plenty to donate to this

 

 

 

 

 

My pc specs (that matter for this)

ram=16gb

cpu= i5-4690k

OS=windows 8.1 64bit

What does your batch file to start the server contain?

 

derp didn't see it in your post xD

 

What version of java are you running?

try watching this, It should help 

iv already seen that video, and that video sais it is mostly caused by not having enough ram, i have more than enough, adn i have a different error then he shows

Reread my post, I updated it after I posted it.

 

Also, try opening your java settings on your system to see if theres something about allocating ram to java in there.

i think it is 64 bit, but i dont know how to find out, this is what i installed

if you increase xmx to 4G does it then say the same error message except with "4000000kb object heap" or something around 4GB?

have you tried using different java versions?

also try using "javaw" instead of "java"

If it was just that page then I think its 32 bit.

if i go up to 4, or any larger , the error changes to this
