3x Monitor set up....

Hello everyone, my name is Edgar and i'm looking into buying and setting up a triple monitor gaming experience. I'm also going to school for IT Programming and IT support, this would be my first year in school. I have already picked out the 3 monitors for my set up, here is a link to the Samsung 4k Monitors I'm buying.

http://m.bonanza.com/listings/samsung-28-uhd-monitor-4k-led-3840x2160-u28d590d-brand-new-list-599-99/267350654

I'm very new at setting some high tech stuff such as this. I'm well aware of having to buy 2 or possibly 3 graphic cards fro a pc tower. My question FOR ANYONE who can help is this. What type of pc would I need to handle 3 4k monitors in a budget of I'd say $1,100.00?
And how many graphic cards do I need?
I wouldn't say I'm a heavy gamer. I'd like to say If one day i'm in the mood of playing i would love to enjoy great graphics. I'm not an everyday gamer. I mostly watch HD movies and have a 7.1 bluray surround syatem i would be using as well.

For any1 out there, what kind of pc would I need?

This here is a review of the monitor i'm buying..

Thank you & God bless

Do you mean running all 3 of the 4k monitors at once in a game? Like an eyefinity setup?

Because I'm not sure you could build a rig that could run any graphic intensive game on high settings on that kind of budget.

I'm not sure what an eyefinity setup is brotha :(
But yes your question is right, I would like to purchase 3 4k monitors for a triple HD experience.
What would you suggest?
Maybe go down a notch instead of 4k?

Also what I meant to say on the budget sir is this.
After purchasing 3 4k monitors I would stiil maintain a budget of around $1,100.00 for a desktop.
So my question was also, what type of desktop would me moderate for this set up with a budget of $1,100.00 left to purchase a desktop?

An eyefinity is something like this in the image

hqdefault.jpg

It means the game is running on all 3 of the monitors, which if you had 3 4k monitors, your running the game at an resolution 3 times that of a single 4k monitor.

So instead of expecting your GPU to push out 8,294,400 pixels per frame, it needs to push out 24,883,200 pixels. And that requires a massive beast of a machine to run at a respectable frame rate.

If you are just wanting to run a game on just one of the monitors and have the other 2 just for productivity, then its possible to build a rig that can run a single 4k monitor at respectable settings and at good fps at your budget.

Maximizing the graphics preset on games on a single 4K setup is a challenge enough; so on 3x 4K displays would be next to impossible, once again, if you are maximizing the graphical fidelity. Rather, I would suggest downscaling the game to 1080p from 2160p if you intend to max it out.

Alternatively, since 4k is vertically 2x 1080p, play games but lower the resolution to 5760x1080 instead of 2160x____. If you do that, you can get away with 2 cards like dual GTX 970 or a solution from AMD; when not gaming, you can use the 3x 4k resolution for text/ video playback. I'll post a good enough spec list in that price after a few hours; would this work for you though?

PS- Assuming you've not bought the monitors already, can you post a picture of the table you plan on putting them please?

Eyefinity is AMD's terminology for multiple monitor setups. I have that 4k monitor and I love it. You need some serious videos cards (multiple) to push that many pixels though. You can run those 3 all day with a dedicated GPU but gaming is another story.

No. Never buy prebuilts. That has an horrible gpu for gaming.

Oh thanks for the tip on that. I'd figured pre-built were not bad :)

I'm reevaluating my plan on buying 3 4k monitors. Probably buy 1080 monitors for a setup of eyefinity

Keep in mind that going down to 1080p monitors would free much of your budget and that part list I posted farther up will be able to run all 3 1080p monitors no problem.

Could save you some money but you might want to look into a compromise of 1440p monitors? And put some of the saved money into the computer by upgrading the GPU to a 980ti or so.

The 1440p monitors you picked have displayport ports, and the 980ti has 3 displayport outputs. Just buy 3 displayport cables.

I'd recommend getting 3x1080p monitors and 1 4k monitor. That would be the perfect setup for me. I have my gaming pc running on my 4k monitor but I'm in the process of sourcing everything for a 3x3 1080p monitor wall. Should be pretty sick when it's done.

As people said before me posting. It's never a good idea to get prebuilts for gaming. It's a terrible idea in fact. You can expect the max of 2 FPS out of that machine on 4K. But the parts list that Chasem121 posted is a good enough machine to run 3x1080P monitors in fact that would be the recommended setup in your case.

For now my budget is allowing me to get only 3 1440 hd monitors. But I'll definitely look into a 4th 4k monitor in the future :)

disgusting....

You`d have a much better movie watching and some casual gaming with a 34" 3440x1440 screen.

Or, if i really wanted that massive pixel density, id wait till next year when we should start seeing 5120x2160 monitors.
