x3 Monitor setup

For my new PC I would like to get 3 monitors that I could hook up to it, but I am using a Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 Gaming 4 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card and it only has one DVI slot. The question I want to ask is how would I go about being able to use 3 DVI cables to my monitors. I hope that all made sense... If it didnt just ask me to explain please :P

Or a HDMI > DVI.

Your GPU has 2 DVI ports.

You can use these 2 to connect to 2 of your monitor and use an (active) displayport to DVI adapter. Not sure if a HDMI to DVI adapter works (because sometimes you need at least 1 monitor connected via displayport)

I don't think it is possible to get 2 different dvi signals from one plug. I just checked you card and it has 2 dvi ports you can use those and then use an hdmi to dvi cable for the 3rd monitor.

there is 3 displayports. there are adapters for dvi to displayport

I could be wrong but your performance with surround + 960 could result in a rather unsatisfactory gaming experience.

Im not going to be using all 3 screens for gaming, just 1 of them would be for that.

Yes, there are 2 DVI ports, but one is DVI-I (analog), but the other one is DVI-D (digital). Therefore he'll need to use either 1 HDMI to DVI-D adapter and 1 Displayport to DVI-D adapter, or just two Displayport to DVI-D adapters.
