I heard it was possible to turn off gore in the ini files is this true?

No. I believe there is an option to disable things like beheading, and there are mods out there to make blood transparent, but there is no one stop setting to turn all of that stuff off.

No. I believe there is an option to disable things like beheading, and there are mods out there to make blood transparent, but there is no one stop setting to turn all of that stuff off.

Simply download > Extract > drop in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data folder (or wherever it is installed)

 

Or better yet, install Mod Organizer and set it up, so you can always go back to having blood easily.

Why would you want to turn them off?
