Just noticed the LG 25UM55-P for sale at £160

Just wondering if this is a good monitor worth buying. I've been looking to go ultrawide for a while but this one seems about half the price of what I was expecting. Anybody know if this is a good monitor?

From what I could tell, it would be the same height as my 21.5" monitor. What makes you say the size is too small?

I'm on a student budget here so could you recommend better one for around £200? Preferably under if possible.

its the height of a 20" 16:9

I dunno, i guess its ok, if you are on a budget and you sit fairly close. The screen is a flicker free IPS and the pixel density will actually look pretty good. So ill look pretty beautiful and NOT damage your eyes like TNs do.

I always think 21:9 > all, in terms of gaming enjoyment.

But, i just have to mention that you can get the cheapest 16:9 144hz TN 24" screens in your budget - aoc g2460pqu

Ahh okay. Should be more or less what I'm looking for then.

I was undecided between going for 1440p and going for ultrawide but knew I wanted IPS. The 1440p ones just seemed a lot more expensive.

Plus, watching films without letterboxing sounds amazing.
