If you go into advanced mode, can you set the AI Overclock Tuner (In AI Tweaker) to XMP with profile #1?

Edit: Also, this may not be the case, but it may require two sticks since it is dual channel memory? It appears your board is only using one.

Interesting. In that case, I do not know why it is not appearing for you. A quick search did not reveal whether 2 sticks was required for xmp or not. I would check to see if your board is running the latest bios, but beyond that I am not going to be of much help.

It tells you bios version at bottom of your image, scroll down to DRAM frequency what options can you set that to?

Are you using the correct save and exit option when you leave the bios after setting the cpu clock? (rather than just exiting)

Can you install CPUZ or something to check the clock speed in windows? you may need to put the CPU under load if you're using power save settings.

i can assure you that i save before i exited and also i ran cine bench and the cpu only ramps up to 3.2 ghz even the multiplier is changed....
