Compatability Question

wcarwile

I am interested in building a Micro ATX using the Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 High Airflow case. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LA6WXEO/ref=twister_B00M1AL2EU?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I was wondering if I had to buy a specially sized micro ATX power supply or if any old power supply would work. Currently I am looking at using the CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-139-026

Would this power supply fit in the case? (See the two links)

Thanks,
William Carwile

It's not a great PSU but it will work in that case. What is your budget for the PSU?

Hmmm, 50 bucks is a little on the low side. This isn't the best PSU but it will work. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-power-supply-rs650amaab1us

Alright, what would you say is the best for <$100

You can get an EVGA 550W GS for under 100 no problem. Great PSU and can power any single-card setup you throw at it. Antec's High Current Gamer is also an option depending on how the cables look to you.

Thank you! Strangely this was the hardest component for me to choose. You have been a great help.
