Help on creating a server website

Hey, i've been thinking about creating a video/image portfolio kind of website, with one of my PCs as a server, just for fun at making it.

 

But i have no knowledge on javascript, or html, or any of that, to make that happen with code.

 

Is there any way that i can host a website server on a pc of mine, and, at the same time, have a easy-to-use interface that guides me to the process? Like linus's sponsor, squarespace

Wordpress, I think Weebly can do it too, Joomla.. (would recommend Wordpress)

You could just host it urself with any linux OS like Centos or Fedora with vsftpd

 

Edit the site with adobe dreamweaver

I am not familiar with wp .com vs. .org.

I only used a free version of wordpress, but it does what you asked for.

Dreamweaver is very good if u learn how to use it

You could learn HTML, the basics aren't that hard. Or just use Wordpress
