Neither do I have BSODs with my 280 but that's the general experiences

Nvidia tend to run hot since their reference coolers are not that great for enthusiast cards (Titans) and AMD's drivers are crap initially.

Nvidia's enthusiast-grade cards (Titans) are pretty much a 2 in 1 combo - you get a powerful GPU and a heat source for the winter. They can also be re-purposed as flame weapons

And i always believed nvidia gpu's stayed colder, at least this generation.

That's the general understanding but compare this.

Fury X runs at 58*C max (cooling method doesn't matter, it still counts as reference)

Titan X runs at about 84*C usually.

yup, I think it shows that every brand has it's positive and negative sides in a comical way. I'm not trying to start a flame war, just make people laugh and accept that everything on earth has it's imperfections, people included

It probably would have been funnier to have the Nvidia BSOD and change the AMD to it catching on fire.  The Nuclear explosion really doesn't make a lot of sense.
