Samsung and Oppo sued over bloatware in China

 The lawsuit came about following numerous consumer complaints about unwanted apps. This case is the first of its kind filed by the consumer rights commission to be accepted by a Shanghai court.

 

While Samsung’s TouchWiz and apps have been broadly accused of being bloated by some, the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9008S) takes this to whole new level with 44 pre-installed apps in the Chinese market. The Oppo Find 7a (X9007) is an even worse offender, with 71 different programs crammed into memory by default.

 

I hope all the phone manufacturers learn from this lawsuit and at least give you the option to uninstall all the pre-installed apps.

They never advertised 16gb of usable space. They advertise that there is 16gb of flash in there. Which there is.

There is no choice. The apps can't be removed if the user doesn't want them. That's not ok in some parts of the world.

can't be done because in their definition a GB is 1000 MB, and a GiB is 1024 MiB, even though the OS, programmers etc. define a GB is 1024 MB, but since there was not an official authority defining that like that, and later it was defined as GiB meaning 1024 and GB meaning 1000 MB so they can get away with it because they disclose it that their definition is different (albeit very quietly)

iPhone has a bunch of bloatware I want to get rid of.

I suppose there's podcasts, newsstand etc... But they don't use much space or any resources, you can put them in a folder and forget about them. Still bloatware really though.

1 TB is 1000 GB not 1024 GB and yes I did but it was more like 998 GB ( WD caviar Black 2013 edition ) which is within the margin of error.

That was my 1 problem with ios. I couldn't get rid of the useless icons, and I didn't want a ugly folder on my screen. I don't use most of the apps that they include and I wanted to see my wallpaper.

You want me to go by your post sure thing ( I doubt you actually knew tb != TB but I will go by your book )

you said "1tb" which is 1 Terabit and said "1024 gbs" which is 1024 Gigabit and there is no way ever 1 tb will ever contain 1024 gb cause 1 tb = 1000 gb, I believe you're confusing between binary and decimal units.

And answering your question they do deliver what they advertise, your OP was kinda misleading.
