Looking for a cheap camera.

Go to solution Solved by Wiflare,

Thanks everyone, I actually asked around and one of my friends is letting me borrow his nikon D5200. I'm going to save up more money for a better camera while I'm using it.

I have a need for a super budget camera, as cheap as possible while still having 1080p video. I'd like to have it be less than $200, not sure if that's possible.

I'm completely fine with going with used gear, just give me suggestions for what I should expect in this price range.

Woo!

I'm not quite sure what specific kind of camera I need, but I don't need one that's gopro-like. I'm planning on using this camera to record my and my friends' street performances, and I already have a good microphone.

I have this http://store.sony.com/full-hd-60p-camcorder-zid27-HDRCX405/B/cat-27-catid-handycam-casual-shooting?_t=pfm%3Dcategory

Although it records in 1080p it's image quality is terrible. Just because something records in 1080p doesn't mean it'll have that good quality. I'm also in the market for a new camera and am probably going to buy the Nikon L820 or L830 or L840
