So I finally made the switch to water

Shit is cash yo

It is only a basic AIO for my CPU but my PC is now near silent since I don't have to run my 140 industrial Noctuas at 100% any more.

Temps are now down to low 60s at 4.4Ghz and low 30s at idle, time to push for 5Ghz.

Even with NZXT's crappy instructions it was super easy to install and majority my time was spent realising my GPU had slipped out of the PCIe lane.

I wouldn't push for 5ghz, let alone run that many volts at 4.8 24/7. I can hit 5ghz @ 1.335v and temps are too hot for long periods of time.

The settings in my sig were done with my NH-D14, I'll update them today when I push it as far as I can today. As long as temps are below a reasonable level the CPU will be fine.

you got a very nice chip I'd like to push that baby to 1.6

Unless you're on constant L2N pretty much anything over 1.5 is a bad idea.

I guarantee that my ambient temperature is much higher than yours, even in Winter outside temps are often high 20s low 30s.

Its actually pretty toasty here, thank god the air conditioning here got fixed or my ambients would be like 80F.

Ambient temp is average like 67F in my apartment.

If you think 26C is toasty then you wouldn't survive an Australian summer, I'm not trying to get defensive or anything but it is much easier to keep stuff cooler in cooler environments.

80F isnt hot for an outdoor temp, but for an indoor temp? Thats a bit high for everyone.

Outdoors here during the summer (its summer rn) it usually is quite hot, we havent seen too many super hot days yet (I consider hot to be 94F+)
