AMD 6300 cooling

Go to solution Solved by tomas710,

Hey all,

What would be the best all in one cooler for my AMD six core 3.5ghz 6300 CPU lightly over clocked be?

NeonJam

The thing is for a slight overclock i don't see the point of an AIO since i would recomend a single rad, but for the same money you can get better air cooling. I had a 120mm and it wasnt worth it, i could get a mild OC, but i would have gotten that with a single tower cooler. Now i upgraded to a corsair H105 but i wasn't going for price to performance, i wanted to OC my all i could. If you wanna get an AIO for aesthetic/compatibility reasons, which are totally understandable, i would go for a 140mm rad, preferably a thick one, like the NZXT X41. If the price between that option and a double rad goes too close, you may as well get the double rad, worst case scenario you can reuse it next time you upgrade.

I would just suggest a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, but I guess you're set on an AIO.

You could go from an H55 to some 280mm cooler.

What's your budget and location and which case are you using?

Also, if you don't already have the FX-6300 I'd suggest you go Intel instead.

Sig under construction.

Don't.

Just don't.

Drop it on the road, run it over. Get an i3 because the i3 WILL be better in every single way.

if you're adiament that you're going to cool the lava brick, i'd suggest a 240MM rad AIO due to the fact that you're overclocking

amd cpu's is life amd cpu's kills

I didn't know what to put here...

I wonder how can you go on a tech forum and tell someone they should run over their CPU, why dude, why be a dick when you can try to be helpful...
