(No support) hdmi PC to TV

Wolfnox

Hello,

I've got a fast question, i've been building my own PC but now i can't seem to get my video card to connect my pc to TV.

my motherboard got a VGA input and when i plug this in it works (when graphics card has no power) and connects to my screen but once i use the HDMI port to my tv it doesn't seem to work it just says not supported. The tv does also have a DVI input would it be better to try a DVI cord ??

IS there any way to fix this?

Specs :

Motherboard : ipible-lb

Video card : Club3 radeon HD 6950 battlefield edition 2gb

Chipset cpu : intelG 33/31 family ( VGA )

OS : Windows 7 ultimate 32bit

TV : Qmedia 26 inch

Kind regards

Yeah if you are plugging the hdmi into the motherboard nothing is going to appear on the screen. The hdmi cord has to go directly into the gpu.
