Android mail not authenticating...

Found the solution, for some reason google thinks the mail app is not secure, and also disabled allowing access from insecure apps...

So recently I've had multiple alerts from google about people trying to get unauthorized access to my account (I think it might just be my phone fucking up), and my gmail account on my phone isn't working, I've got a 2nd account added that works perfectly fine, but this one just doesn't want to authenticate.

I've tried changing my password, changing my account security settings, removing the account from the android mail app and adding it again, each resulting in the same message "Warning: Authentication failed. Please verify username and/or password" even though I've checked and re-typed them both multiple different times now...

Anyone else have this issue or have had it in the past?

and anyone know the solution to this?

My phone is a HTC Evo 4g lte. (Really just wanna get the sony xperia z3 then destroy this damn phone -_-)

Note: The account works perfectly fine on all my other devices, even when I use google chrome on my phone to access it, just not with the damn mail app...
