Core 0x17 NVIDIA

Just got Core 0x17 on my GTX680... 

 

In for the long haul it seems...

Long haul why is that? just wait to stabilize the WU it will finish within normally 12 to 8 hours.

From what I know, Core17 is an AMD optimized core.

 

It's only holding 15k credits, i can normally put a few hours on those, never above 8.

TPF seems to be high! let it run for 1 hour then see back wat the TPF says

core 15, 17 and 18 work on nvidia 17 works best on kepler (600 and 700 cards), core 18 are best on maxwell (900 cards) core 17 also work really well on amd gcn as well.

i have used a gt610, gtx670, hd7970 and 2xgtx970's so i have tried all the recent cards on it. with the gtx670 on core 17's i was get around 80k ppd 20k on core 15's, so you should be getting a bit higher than that.

I'm pretty sure Core17 is supposed to work great on AMD and Nvidia, it was Core15 and 16 that was exclusive to either brand. And then there is Core18 which I haven't had the time to read up on.

This core was developed to address some critical scientific issues in Core17 ^[35] and uses the latest technology from OpenMM^[36] 6.0.1. This is why assignment of work units running on this core has been temporarily stopped for some GPUs. ^[37]
