That's cheap for a King Pin.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Oh wait I got excited too fast. It seems it's only the 980 and not ti

The one you linked to is the GTX 980, not the TI.

What's the difference between a normal 980ti and a kingpin version?

What's the difference between a normal 980ti and a kingpin version?

Binned like a mofo, and overbuilt to hell. 2x as many power phases as a normal 980 ti, voltage for memory can be adjusted, and the memory is also binned.  Not to mention you can usually change the frequency of the Power phases updating, and voltage from the PCI-E slot.

Also there are very very few limits put on the card, out of the box it's basically ready for Ln2 and 1.6 volts.

Stuff:  i7 7700k @ (dat nibba succ) | ASRock Z170M OC Formula | G.Skill TridentZ 3600 c16 | EKWB 1080 @ 2100 mhz  |  Acer X34 Predator | R4 | EVGA 1000 P2 | 1080mm Radiator Custom Loop | HD800 + Audio-GD NFB-11 | 850 Evo 1TB | 840 Pro 256GB | 3TB WD Blue | 2TB Barracuda

A normal 980 ti is quite locked down, there are resistors, and limters put in place so that you cannot go past a certain voltage without modifying the cards BIOS and the actual card itself.  (Meaning you can't push as much voltage through the card for overclocking)

The Kingpin, and classified have smaller ohm resistors, and can be over-volted like crazy out of the box with some knowledge.

The PCB itself is also insanely overbuilt, and has like 14 power phases for the GPU, and 3 power phases for the memory.  (This delivers cleaner, more stable power to the GPU, and also lets the card push more power to the GPU and memory)

Breaking records by throwing this card under liquid nitrogen, or really good watercooling and maintaining super high overclocks.

Due to the limits put in place on other cards..... are not as restrictive with this GPU,.. these are made to be pushed with overclocks and extra voltage.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

There was even a news thread for the actual 980 Ti: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/398246-evga-launches-the-gtx-980-ti-classified-for-only-700/

@texhornsaj

You should really check the news section of the forum before making a thread. Do Google searches to see if people have already posted what you are about to post.
