The Unofficial "Fund the Fireman's Pole" Thread!

Hey guys, I have a quirky concept to share with all of you. I have made this thread to "unofficially" fund the Fireman's Pole for the new office! For those that don't know what this is about, be sure to check this snippet of "New Office Tour Vlog 2": https://youtu.be/gdjlJ4rBtis?t=11m5s

So here's my idea. Because Linus doesn't have a set way for donating money directly, and I don't want to start any sort of Kickstarter campaign for something unofficial (plus that would be really sketchy / not cool), I have decided to try out this idea.

If you want to assist in this totally unofficial, unconfirmed, maybe won't make a difference idea, then donate through the forum by buying a contributor tier, and make a post in this thread noting how much you donated.

I'm thinking, if at least $500-1000 in total comes in due to this thread, there's literally no way Linus can say no to it.

I'm not gonna be tracking any donations in this thread, so it's up to the readers / posters in this thread to keep track .

Anywho, that's it! Just thought it'd be funny. Let me know what you think!

Also. Just a heads up, to start off this idea, I bought the "Gold Contributor" reward.

(Just a heads up, I checked up and down the forum to make sure this was the right place to post this, and checked back a couple pages to make sure another thread like this wasn't made)

People are welcome to, and I might as well. I'm just gonna be INSANELY busy for the next week, and can't keep up with it over the weekend. But if people are adament enough, I will likely track it in the main post.

I saw on another thread, for the brass pole section, its around $35 a foot, not including the base, and the cost of digging it into the ground.

Yeah I've seen the petition. But this is an actual way to fund it . I'm sure they don't need the money. But I see this as an opportunity for them to "not be able to say no"

Still, fireman poles can't be *that* expensive. Out of 500+ people $50 can't be too hard to scrounge up. I'd donate.

Used to watch your videos a long time ago. All I remember is a cactus farm with a glass/wood ceiling. Also saw you post under LTT videos before.
