Operation: nVidia Upgrade

EarthboundHero

Hello ladies, gentlemen, and everything in between! So, I've been noticing some issues with my current GPU, my R9 280. Issues like artifcating, very high heat output, not getting the performance that I want. So, I've decided to upgrade. I've chosen to upgrade to a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970. If I don't lapse and spend too much money, otherwise I'll get the ASUS Strix GTX 970. I currently have $175 of the $250-$280 I need for the card. I get paid the 29th of next month, so that's when I'll order it. Here I will document benchmarks as well as unboxings and pictures of the card and finished system, and temps. Currently the only thing I have to show is my R9 280 benchmarks. If you want me to add a certain game to the testing, let me know. And if you want to be tagged in future updates, let me know. Have a good day.

I believe it can be turned off. Not really gonna bother me either way.

Nope, just wanted to get this made before I forgot about it. I'll be getting my 280 benchmarks in ASAP. But, I'm thinking I should wait until Windows 10, since that's what I'm going to be testing the 970 on.

Doesn't match with my color scheme. However in pictures it looks more white than blue, so I think I'll be fine.
