Fan configuration questions.

Hi there. I have the H440 NZXT case and I feel that the air flow in the front is quite restricted. I currently have 3 fans in the front and 1 in the back and I am getting 2 more fans soon. I was wondering whether I would be able to have a setup where the intake would be in the back with 3 fans and the exhaust in the front with 3 fans.

Also, I am getting an AiO 240mm cooler and I was wondering where the best position for it would be. Currently, I am thinking above the motherboard but I'm not 100% certain.

I have a feeling that these would be alright but I just want to double check whether this would work correctly!

Cheers!

Exhaust is generally in the back/top because 1. The majority of the heat is created in the back of the case (gpu/cpu) and  2. Heat rises.  While you could have the intake in the back, you would have to push the hot air down and through your entire case, past your drives, and then out the front towards you. Also the front is more likely to have filtered fan grills since that's where the intakes almost always are.

Horrible dust build up due to negative air flow. The h440 is fine with the 3 in the front as intake. Temps would differ a few degrees(1-4) with the front panel off.

I wouldn't turn them arround because of dust.

I would put 3 airflow fans with decent air pressure in front of the case. The Silent Wings 2 would be perfect for that.
Then some high pressure fans for the rad on top. Because of the low airflow of those you'll get some nice positive air pressure inside. Corsair SP120s aren't bad for that job.
And in the back some random air flow fan.
