Xbox 360 rechargeable battery packs

Hey guys, i'm currently in the process of turning the living room in my apartment into a game center. My roommate has a wii u for that sweet, sweet 8 player smash bros. and i'm in the process of getting 8 total controllers for two xbox 360's that we have to system link for 8 player halo. Now I just need to find somewhat cheap (<= $10) rechargeable battery packs, I prefer the ones that resemble the OEM xbox rechargable pack,  not the ones that have the charging pins on the outside of the pack, like the nyko onessince I am going to have a couple of the xbox quick charge kits - http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Quick-Charge-Kit/dp/B009NAVOMG/ref=pd_sim_63_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1PMRNDEJDHWFC2A7ZJ6E  which come with one battery each but i'll still need a few more that can fit in this charger. If any of you know what brands make decent batteries that won't explode, i would love to know. Monoprice makes their own version of the play and charge kit - http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=114&cp_id=11403&cs_id=1140301&p_id=10199&seq=1&format=2   which also come with the charging cables that I could use as a backup, which is nice. I just don't know if the monoprice batteries are decent quality or not. Thanks in advance for your help.
