well, you can swap in an SSD, and you can get more ram, thats almost all you can do with a laptop

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240

Windows 7 Ultimate

Can i make this faster?

SSD, and possibly a proper Windows install, because I highly doubt that laptop came with the ultimate version of Windows 7, and I highly doubt you actually bought the ultimate edition.

Ultimate gets the most performance!  Don't you know?  It just unlocks all that stored performance waiting to be tapped into! /s

The only way you can make that faster is to take it out in your car onto a motorway, get up to about 70MPH and open the window and throw it out, cause that is the fastest you will ever get that laptop to go.

But seriously, you can buy an SSD which would improve responsiveness, and buy and install Windows 8.1 which is quicker, but not by much.

Apart from that, it really isn't worth bothering with, you might be able to upgrade the CPU, but the effort and cost involved is much more than the laptops value and you would be better off buying a second hand laptop with a 2 gen Core i series CPU and a decent dedicated GPU and running that, you can pick one up for roughly £400-500 (or $US if that's what you use) and that would be far better than trying to breathe life into a system that cost about as much as a pack of chewing gum to make.
