Need advice on my motherboard please!

Hey everyone,

I am torn between the Asus V Rampage Extreme and the MSI x99s motherboard and I have heard great things about both! I am upgrading my build and plan on overclocking the 5930k. Which would you guys recommend and why?

Since you're going full on with the 5930k, get the Asus sabertooth, really good motherboard, has a crap ton of features

I heard that the build quality of the Asus board is a bit better, so I'd go for that, even though I hate the way it looks.

Really makes no difference either, I would choose based on your colour scheme or the Sabertooth simply because it has more fan pins.

why the 5930K? the 5820K is just as good and it cost way less...the 5820K still has 28 PCIe lanes so it can still do 3 way SLI at 8x/8x/8x...so unless you plan on going with 4 GPU's (which i REALLY do not recommend BTW) there's absolutely NO POINT in the 5930K.

I am part of the Intel program and got the 5930k for $180 so you're really asking questions that don't matter.. I just wanted advice on the mobo so thank you everyone who helped
