Not my fault game developers develop for shit platforms.

A platform that supports none of the software a person uses is also a shit platform to that user. Whether you like it or not, Linux is a shit platform for gaming (and for a couple of other activities). It shines when it comes to programming, however.

You can those at 29 juli comes Windows 10 bug Windows 7 of 8 and than do a free update to 10 ( the normale version is good enough. You don't need a Pro version.)

Instead of making a ton of very small posts, you can edit your previous one to add more info.

Also people have their preferences. Windows, Mac OS, Linux, are all good options for people who prefer them. It's down to interface, what the person wants out of the PC, and personal preference.

@deavmi

I'll give it to you that you know a lot about GNU/Linux, but do you know how to edit your original post in a forum instead of making a billion ones and not making a thread look like shit?

And the OP asked which windows to buy, not whether to buy or not.

So, to the OP, get anything above Windows Vista and then upgrade to Windows 10. Why? Because Windows 10 will have DX12 which previous versions will not. And if you are a gamer, you wanna have DX12 :P .
