My msi Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard has locked all Options for overclocking! Please help!

Go to solution Solved by TheMcSame,

This might sound silly but did you try it with the +/- keys on the num pad  (if your keyboard has one)?

So I went on to bios by pressing delete key, on the overclocking settings the "CPU Ratio" is locked on auto

I previously had, but now it's turned off. My CPU now runs at defaults.

Nice! Sorry, I thought you had meant you were trying to directly adjust frequency and freaking out because it was grayed out and I saw ratio was not grayed out, glad you got it working.
