That will be a perfect setup ^_^ But I would recommend stepping down the SSD size and adding in a mechanical HDD.

Looks good to me. Replace fans on that aio with some noctua industrial ones and it's golden.

X99 utilizes quad channel Ram so 4 x 4GB is slightly better than 2 x 8GB.

I heard the h100i was a little noisy

2 its a good quality asus mobo, the specs meet my needs

upgrading 2x8 is easier though and for video editing he might feel the need for 32gb (probably not, but you never know)

The Corsair H105 would save you around $25.

which he could use to buy some noctua fans!

get n14-a14 with that h110i and you won't hear it

that mobo can go up to 64gb so if you keep that pc a long long time you'll be able to do 8x 8gb=64gb instead of 8x4gb=32gb

Unless He is building an ultra high end workstation then He isn't going to need 64GB Ram anytime soon.
