Guild Wars 2 - GTX 760 fps?

Hello everyone, I was wondering about my fps in Gw2. I'm getting somewhat around 40-50fps with high sets and whether I'm changing it to low or max, it just won't change more than 5+-. I would to know of what a 760 is capable of. Also to mention I've got a fx 8350 and a 2560x1080 monitor.

Are there any tricks or know errors. Thanks for the help.

GW2 is a CPU heavy game and will especially perform better on a cpu with high single threaded performance. You're probably being bottlenecked by your cpu.

@Pohernori is right, I have the exact same CPU/GPU combo as you can it bottlenecks on a lot of games for me like that. AC: Black Flag the most frames I could get was around 45 because of the CPU.

Yep the cpu is the bad part unfortunately

@MonteToast Follow your own topics for notifications of all replies.

GW2 is a CPU heavy game and will especially perform better on a cpu with high single threaded performance. You're probably being bottlenecked by your cpu. 

And if you have a CPU with good single thread performance, more cores / threads will also help.
