If a components passes the 30 day return-policy, and its DOA, can i return it to the Manufacturer

cheeze_tartz

So theres a 'fairly good deal' on Newegg on a PSU. If I get it now, and it passes 30 days, and then i figured out it was DOA, can i get another PSU from the manufacturer? Its Corsair BTW

edit: i meant, "if a component" not 'if a components" lel

Yes. The 30 days is for returns not replacements. Newegg usually says the warranty period near the bottom of the spec list. Normally 1 year through 5 years.

Returns(30 days): it works but i no longer want it

Replacement(1+years): its broken i want a new one

because i don't have all my parts yet.

Case fan and paper clip test (no other parts are required)ok it doesn't test full functionality but at least it will test whether the PSU performs the basics.
