Need New Laptop! but, i dont know whats best

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new laptop to buy. My price is $1300 USD. I need to be able to type notes for school, play games (Not demanding games), Run Virtual Machines (2 or more at a time), and have somewhat good battery life.

 

The main thing that i want to have is an i7 and a Graphics Card.

 

I am asking you guys this because i know more about older laptops but have not kept up on newer ones.

There you go. I would get this with a Samsung 850 EVO M.2 120GB SSD as the boot drive. The 965M should be able to cope with all your needs.

I think it's because it is a slightly older model which they removed recently.

Here's another link with the same laptop but different GPU. In the previous link if I remember correctly, the GPU is a 965M, this one is a 960M, which is practically a rebranded 860M but slightly overclocked. If you want a 965M, you can check other sites like Amazon or eBay or something.
