WC GTX 970

I got a new EK block how do I know if it's making cotack with the VRM on the 970 i have a MSI card?

if the EK waterblock you got is the MSI version then it will work

otherwise you got the wrong block

If it's an FC block it will make contact (provided it is the correct one for your card, if it's not a reference PCB). It should have thermal pads that need installing for the VRM.

disassemble and verify the TIM pads are making contact. the GPU processor

uses TIM compound sdo the contact will be spread.

Here is the block that fits it EK-FC970 GTX TFX perfomance PCS sent me   EK-FC970 GTX TF5 TFX are these models the same blocks?

The block design differs a bit between the TF5 and the TFX to accomodate the version 1.3 of the MSI PCB.

Anyway the TF5 and the TFX are very 2 different blocks. :)
