Should I buy these games?

I am currently saving money to buy games on Steam. I am going to buy Rust and Garry's Mod. I prefer games that are open world, fun to play, and have a grrat multiplayer.

Are these games good for the money? If not, what games should I buy? (No GTA V)

Honestly, I don't like GTA because it isn't that much fun, especially after Rock* is banning mods. There is not much fun left on GTA V.

their only banning mods in multiplayer, also garys mod is not a big multiplayer unless your playing with friends in private games.

To anyone who is wondering why I added Rust and GMod... First, Rust is fun, it is like Minecraft, but realistic. And for Gmod, it is moddable. I think thats it. Or I just replace Gmod with ARK, but it just came out.

ARK is still in early access and it is not optimized so the frame rate is going to be low, my 980 ti gets ~24 fps on "Epic" preset 1080p and uses ~5.7 GB VRAM

They are only banning the use of mods in online. You are free to do anything that your heart desires in singleplayer.

I get 35-40 fps on Epic with my 980ti. Do you have the reference model?

Also, rust is fun and since its an early access, every update the release wipes servers and it probably won't be releases for a while. I'm not sure if you're okay with that.

No rust unless you plan on hacking or have a team of 5.
