I just preordered the Steam controller. (can't wait till October  :) ) 

 

I was wondering what you guy think about the steam controller and if your super hyped or just don't care?

i see no reson to get it exept for the looks, my 360 controler works just fine

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

It seems gimmicky to me. They tried to redesign the controller, but as time went on, they moved closer and closer to what we already have.

I think it is kind of a risk, because everyone is comfortable with the xbox 360 controller, and it is kind of a risk to just introduce a new controller to the market

I for one think aesthetically, it looks quite nice.

 

As for the functionally, it's innovative, and I like that. We'll just have to see how it goes :)
