Desktop Hard Drive for ps4

asker509
Go to solution Solved by asker509,

Just buy an external hard drive rather than looking to change the in built one,. If you really have to. its 9.5mm and can be found in ebay or amazon. replacing it is also easy with just a screwdriver.

I thought you couldn't use a external hard drive

anyway my current hard drive is so I'm just gonna replace it

I already bought the Toshiba and the nyko data bank

My ps4 hard drive has been annoying me for a while it always gets corrupted I had to restore it again today

I'm looking for a 3-4 tb hard drive for my ps4 I'm think of using the nyko data bank to have it be 7200 rpm hard desktop hard drive preferably under $100 dollars

I believe PS4's use 2.5" hard drives.

IKR, that's because I'm asking, if generally is a bad drive then why customers would buy it. If it's that bad, people wouldn't buy it and stocks would pile up.

Well, reviews are over 4/5. But anyway, what I'm trying to say is why should we compare a 90 $ drive with a 155 $ one :P

Dunno, for me it's like comparing an R7 260X to a GTX 980 Ti.

The R7 260X does the job. The GTX 980 Ti gives a nice experience because of it's higher performance but costs obviously more.

I put a SSHD in my Ps4 and it made a nice genuine difference.

Game menus were more responsive.

Install times were shaved down a bit.

Pretty good balance for speed vs space.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
