Gaming computer build[Help}

Hi my name is OneDimpleton, and I need some advice in a possible build I will be doing. For my special needs I want to run at 1080p at 60fps for most games. I am open to suggestion for any parts I could improve on. Please put into perspective that this would be my first build, and I only have a limited amount of cash to go on. So I have set a budget close to $1000 USD.

I have compiled a list on parts through research(tutorials, guides, and other benchmark reports).

*GPU-MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G Graphics Cards $290-330

*CPU-Intel Core I5-4690k $235

*RAM-Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB-Ram $65

(Close to $400 budget left)

Other than that those are the only ones I have semi-determined I want in my build. So if anyone could recommend a good case, power supply, and a compatible motherboard that would be splendid. And don't worry about peripherals, or operating system costs. Ahead of time I would like to thank anyone or helping.

Fractal design r4/ NZXT h440 are great cases.

For a psu anything modular by corsair or evga i guess.

Any high end asus or msi Z97 board.

Also 1000 USD is not budget imo hahahah

Also you might even be able to upgrade gpu/cpu

http://myanimelist.net/animelist/VLRose I like anime, I'm missing at least 50 off this list.

R9 390, i5 6400, 8GB Ram

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) And no hard drives  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

PSU: Corsair CX750 {http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139051} $80

Corsair's been a really good brand, and my older 750 watt from them has been running for a good two years now. Shame that mine isn't modular, but good news! This one is!

MOBO: Watch this:

~$150

Soo, I'm not a really good person to ask for a recommendation for an Intel motherboard, but this series of videos by Luke really helped me choose one in the ~$150 range.

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146087&ignorebbr=1 $100

Really love the aesthetic of the case, and from what I've heard from a few friends, they love this case -- my only beef with it is that it's a little expensive at $100.

Alt. Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146076&ignorebbr=1 $40

Like this one too, makes a great budget case for basically any build.

You're also going to need a hard drive and an SSD, can't forget about those!

HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840 $70

Have this one, really like it, no problems.

SSD:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2W02DV8165 $80

Makes a great boot drive.

Total: ~$380

Good luck with the build!

Dear Adman,

I loved the report and thank you very much for helping. Your response was very professional, and overall I am very pleased with your response. I don on the other hand have some questions. First of all since you have so much intel motherboard experience, what would the best be for a cheaper but still responsive choice? Second I have found a list on pcparts of a good build set http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cV77Hx . I would like to know I changed the memory to Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB, the computer case to the alt. course you have selected, and the memory board of your choice would it be compatible.

I'd recommend the ASUS board in the video. It ought to work with the corsair vengeance memory -- it's DDR3 and as far as I'm aware there aren't any non compatible memory sticks with the board (unless you're trying to run DDR2 or DDR4 on the board)
