At the moment I do not know what to think, I really want this card to do well, and cant wait to see AMD get ahead of nvidia in single GPU performance, and do it at a reasonable power level. When the rumours started about fiji being water cooled, I was very worried. I thought the tdp was going to be 400 watts and was just going to be a crazy card, that no-one would really use. But I have been proven wrong, and I hope for the future of AMD. After looking at the power consumption Its looking good. And Im surprised, it uses roughly the same amount of power as the titan x.

As more and more leaks come out, Im shocked at just how good this is doing. Amd has really leapfrogged nvidia in a way that nobody expected.

[update]

This is getting too real, ive been flowing the rumors since October last year when a leaked image showed a cooler for the next AMD flagship.

I really want to know that if HBM was not delayed, could AMD have released this last year? And if they did what would nvidias response have been?

This shows it ON PAR with the titan x if not better, and only draws a tad more power, stays below 60 degrees and is a general beast.

It’s quite remarkable how close the result has turned out to be, with both cards performing within a single FPS of each other. In terms of power consumption the Fury X consumes about 40W more than the Titan X but with regards to thermals the Fury X is significantly ahead with 58c vs the Titan X’s 84c.

The tested games include Battlefield 4, Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite.  Also included in the results are two syntehtics namely Unigine Heaven and 3DMark Firestrike. The sample of games tested isn’t as large as we’d like but the choice of titles is fairly good.

The AMD Radeon R9 Fury X should be available at $649.99 in-stores in under three hours, but before you pull the trigger we’d definitely recommend checking out more reviews. As mentioned earlier, we will make sure to do a review roundup right here on WCCFTech.com for your convenience as soon as the reviews start appearing online.

Thanks Boris

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

- WCCFTECH

I was only 9 years old. I loved Fifflaren so much, I had all the NiP merchandise and matches pirated. I prayed to Fifflaren every night before bed. Thanking him for the life I have been given. Fifflaren is love I say. Fifflaren is life. My dad hears and calls me a fuckhead. I knew he was just jelly of my passion for Fifflaren. I called him a Sw@yer. He hits me and sends me to go to sleep. I'm crying now, and my face hurts. I lay in bed and it's really cold. A warmth is moving towards me. I feel someone touching me. I feel someone touching me. It's Fifflaren. I am so happy. He whispers in my ear; "this is my pyjama". He grabs me with his powerful Swedish hands and puts me on my hands and knees. I'm ready. I spread my ass cheeks for Fifflaren. He penetrates my butt-hole. It hurts so much but I do it for Fifflaren. I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against his force. I want to please Fifflaren. He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

I never understood the point of reserving a thread.

Well as long as you make it a good one and not just c/p links.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Im going to look at how people are actually responding, and see how much amd can actually compete with nvidia.

Unless AMD lied and it performs like a 980....

It could also sprout wings and burst out of the box on its way here while singing waltzing matilda and sprinkling fairy dust across the land, but I'll take my chances :)

Having to wait a week to get my claws on it, though...

LET ME AT IT ALREADY

Cool idea but each review is going to get it's own (multiple) threads anyway.

Maybe with mods support this could be the central thread for reviews, otherwise Fury X reviews will flood this TN&R forum.

This is LTT. One cannot force "style over substance" values & agenda on people that actually aren't afraid to pop the lid off their electronic devices, which happens to be the most common denominator of this community. Rather than take shots at this community in every post, why not seek out like-minded individuals elsewhere?

Ask them. Clearly you've put some thought into this so maybe they'll appreciate it.
