Hello guys, my 5 year old laptop (Toshiba Satellite A660) is not working , 

whenever i boot it up , i'm stuck at this screen pattern (see image)

What to do now ?????

First thing I would check is the RAM, Unseat it and place it back in. Failing that start checking monitor cables. If you are not comfortable with doing this yourself take it to a repair shop. 

 

It may be the screen has gone and needs replaced. Worst case is the GPU is gone and its new laptop time...

I had a similar problem with my HP laptop, try removing one of the ram sticks and boot the laptop, if that doesn't work it could be that the screens cable has become loose and it needs repairing.

reseat ram and if it does not work it might be the gpu
