  • 2 weeks later...

Hello forum!

The case arrived a couple of days ago so in theory I can start the water cooling assembly  :D

Anyways, I´ve been attending to several national swimming competitions during these two weeks, so I have not had so much time

to do the project. Last swimming events are held this weekend, and after that I will fully focus on my build.

Let me know what you guys think this far!

See you soon!

Update time guys and girls!  :D

This far I have installed the CPU water block, radiator and the pump/reservoir combo.

I had to move my GPU to the lower PCI Express slot so that the reservoir would fit.

I´ll be doing the tubing and filling as soon as I can!

Here are some photos of what I have right now:

Another update!

Tubing is done! Luckily I had planned the fittings right so that everything looks nice.

Still need to do the filling - the funniest part, hopefully  ;)

Some pictures as always:

Hello!

Here are some temperatures while waiting for the final pictures:

Cpu temps in idle: under 30 degrees

Cpu temps while playing BF4: max 50 degrees

Before the loop my cpu was around 45 degrees in idle  :D

Looking pretty good! Are you going to add an outlet for easy drying and refilling the loop?

Thanks!

Maybe in the future, at the same time I add the GPU block  :)

And I can always use the radiator top ports to drain the loop if needed.

Hello again!

It is time for the final photos!

All in all, I´m very happy with the way everything turned out. Filling went well and everything is up and running.

Please let me know what you think, I would appreciate your opinion  :)

Still going to post some photos of the system powered on when it is dark.

Probably yes, but I wanted some red accents to the build that go together with the red led strip outside the case. Anyways the color of the coolant is pretty easy to change when draining the loop every six months.

Gonna do some changes in the future for sure. This was my first water cooling build so I wanted to keep it very simple. That explains the pump/res combo.

But thanks for the comment!
